About Us
Our goal has never been to be just another waxing salon. We want reWAXation to be the place where you feel comfortable asking questions, chatting about life, or sitting quietly if that's your thing. We take what we do seriously, but we don't take ourselves too seriously. We just want you to leave feeling smooth, confident, and happy you came in.
Our Story
reWAXation was founded by Shay in 2013 with one simple goal: to create a waxing salon where people actually felt comfortable. A place where clients could relax, be themselves, and leave feeling more confident than when they walked in. What started as one small studio has grown to six locations across Texas and California, but that goal hasn't changed.

Shay went straight to beauty school at 16 and has been waxing ever since. Over the years, she worked everywhere from small local salons to luxury resorts, seeing firsthand what made a workplace great and what made people want to leave.

When it came time to open her own salon, she knew she wanted to do things differently. She wanted to build a place where clients loved coming back, and where estheticians felt supported, appreciated, and could build a long-term career. That's still what reWAXation is all about today: helping people feel confident while creating a salon that people genuinely enjoy being part of.
